The Northwest Florida Water Management District (District) is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms to perform professional services associated with wetland and ecological resources throughout the District for a period of three (3) years. Services will be provided following the selection process and upon negotiation and execution of a satisfactory agreement with the selected firm. The procurement of the selected consultant will comply with the requirements of Title 44, Part 13.36, Code of Federal Regulations (44 CFR 13.36). Respondents to this RFP must have the ability and experience to undertake wetland and ecological resource services. Consulting services for this solicitation may include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following: - Wetland mitigation planning, design, implementation, monitoring and maintenance - Local, state and federal wetland permitting activities and functional assessments, specifically including, but not necessarily limited to, both the Uniform Mitigation Assessment Method and Wetland Rapid Assessment Procedure - Biological evaluations or environmental assessments related to impacts to wetland or aquatic resources of the District - Wetland jurisdictional determinations, ecological characterizations, threatened and endangered species evaluations, and critical habitat assessments - Wetlands GIS analysis, aerial interpretation, surveying, mapping and other related geographic services - Other wetland and hydrologic restoration and enhancement project tasks (including planning, design, implementation, monitoring and/or maintenance) - Project-related outreach activities including website design and electronic reporting - Work products for each assignment, which will be established on a task by task basis during contract development No additional specifications were given.
