The County’s design firm for this project has begun design work on a new Fire Station and Training Facility for the County. The project site includes the existing fire station at 149 KD Revell Road, Wauchula, Florida 33873, and the adjacent land to the west. The scope of the project is to be a new 5-bay Fire Station that also includes administrative offices and classroom space for training. The existing fire station site is to be converted into a training center with props, drill tower, and dirty classroom space. The training center may be either new construction or renovation of the existing building. The chosen CMAR firm will join the project during the design phase, estimated to be completed in mid 2026, to provide pre-construction phase services to the County for the negotiated pre-construction phase fees.
