The construction work will encompass all work provided in the design plans and specifications and will include, but is not limited to, the items listed below. A. Sitework: Earthwork, paving, grading, drainage, utility coordination, distributions & relocations, and information technology distribution, extensions and coordination, sidewalks, parking, fencing, signage, landscaping, irrigation, lighting and required roadway improvements as shown on the construction plans and as directed by the authority having jurisdiction. ADA compliant site throughout. B. Programming: Fingerprint Unit • (1) Office space for the Unit Manager. o Eight (8) cubicles and (1) Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) workstation. Office space of growth for new associates, to eliminate office sharing and a non-private setting. • Locked and secured evidence room with access control. • Fingerprint card storage room. • Manual Space Savers for print card storage. Space Saver rails will need to be installed during construction to minimize costs. Crime Scene Unit; • (1) Office space for the Unit Manager. o Ten cubicles. Office space for growth of new associates, to eliminate office sharing and a non-private setting. • Large room for equipment storage. • Larger photo lab area for multiple computers and the 3D Laser Scanners (FARO is basis of design) setup. • Bigger lab workspace • Locker Room/Decontamination room for Crime Scene ONLY with washer/dryer hookups...
