Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Jacksonville (COJ) is accepting proposals to provide armed and unarmed security and staffing services for various locations, facilities, and settings. The work performed by the successful bidder will include all labor, supervision, materials, tools, vehicles, equipment, and reporting requirements necessary for performing the work.; Provide, operate, supervise, and maintain professional uniformed security guard services and equipment in various settings to include COJ owned buildings, yards, parks, and property.: 1. Provide a security guard force in readiness able to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, mitigate, investigate, and report threats or incidents of assault, theft, fire, medical, missing persons, potential emergencies, workplace and employee safety, and other related acts involving COJ employees, the public, visitors, or property within the scope of all applicable licensure.; 2. Lead, integrate, and support security responses and roles supervising all human, materials, equipment, operation, condition, or functional asset(s) within the scope of assignment for each service location.; 3. Operate various technologies used in the surveillance, threat detection, loss prevention, safety, access control, continuity of operations, emergency action response, scene stability, and crisis response.; 4. Provide professional staffing, skills, aptitude, and institutional knowledge through careful staff selection and retention, administrative oversight, to demonstrate the best industry practices for immediate, remedial, and follow up action, maintaining operational readiness throughout all areas of responsibility.
