The types of services required may include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Pre-Construction Services A. The Successful Respondent will function as an agent of the City, be paid a fixed fee for services performed, and be an integral part of the design team. o Review and coordinate the work that the architect, engineer, and/or the owner prepares for the project within the existing site conditions. o Attend all design team meetings and review preliminary design drawings and specifications. o Review of proposed construction materials and systems. o Submit to the architect, engineer, and owner for consideration of appropriate cost and savings programs (value engineering and recommendations). o Coordinate competitive bidding and contractor for trade subcontractors. o Calculate and provide a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for the project or each phase. B. All bids, quotes, etc., received by the Successful Respondent from their perspective subcontractors will be subject to City review.
