The Florida State Fire Marshal requires a product that can provide services listed below in order to stay mission ready and to ensure fire personnel safety and to protect the public at large. There are no other like items or products available for purchase from other platform providers that include the following features: wearable staff alert button with silent acknowledgment; provides two levels of alerting for staff level and site-wide incidents; does not require an application download to mobile device; immediate notification of location both inside and outside a building; multi-sensory notification to notify all building occupants; does not require use of a site’s Wi-Fi or cellular network or require new wiring or other infrastructure upgrades in order for the platform to work; has integrated dynamic mapping capability that provides immediate location of an incident and immediately notifies local emergency services without the individuals having to make contact; intelligent response mapping solution that can overlay a responder response grid and encompasses an enhanced visitor management system to locate all types of visitors in real time; screens visitors and does background checks; and keeps historical visitor data via reporting. The Marion County School Board also uses this platform in all of its schools, and the State Fire Marshal must be able to coordinate responses to emergency situations with, among other entities, the Marion County School Board.
