The Department, through the Workforce Development Initiative, previously acquired Virtual CDL Training Simulators and has identified Golden Ink as the only vendor that can implement these trainings using the Department's facilities, simulation equipment and curriculum. The CDL training program combines classroom learning with practical, hands-on experience to prepare participants to master the CDL testing scheduled and provided on the last days of the training session. Golden Ink will lead a virtual Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) theory course, provide required Behind the Wheel Training and Certified Behind the Wheel Testing performed by Certified Florida Testers. Golden Ink will also provide additional services onsite, including: Commercial Learner’s Permit awards, Medical Card Examinations, and CDL license printing appropriately contracted and delivered by certified individuals with the help of the Department.
