Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Request for Bids (RFB) is to solicit bids from responsive and responsible bidders for a cattle grazing lease for 406.42 acres, more or less, for five (5) years located in Highlands and Okeechobee Counties. The District acquired the property for conservation purposes and presently desires to lease the property as an interim land management tool. A site inspection will be held on June 12, 2023, at 9:00 A.M. at Grogan Lake, located within the footprint of the Lake Okeechobee Watershed Restoration Project. The property is accessed via an easement off Fulford Camp Road in Okeechobee. Travel west on State Road 70, approximately 10.8 miles to S.W. Rucks Daily Road – head south about 2.75 miles – head east on Fulford Camp Road for about .25 miles to the easement gate.
