Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Sarasota County intends to renew a sole source procurement with Jack Graham Inc DBA Marina Operations for the provision of boat lift rental with 24/7/365 access without relying on marina staff and with location offering quick access to the Gulf of Mexico for a period of one year . In the event respondents demonstrate the ability to supply the same or substantially similar services, the County may, in its sole discretion, elect to cancel this sole source and advertise a competitive solicitation. The County is not interested in responses from respondents not authorized by Jack Graham Inc DBA Marina Operations to provide these services to the County. Sarasota County Fire Department requires the use of a boat lift that is within a short distance of Fire Station 3 that has secure, 24 hour access. Marina Jack is the only fiacility in the County that can provide and individual boat lift for dry storage. This allows fire department personnel to have 24/7/365 without relying on marina staff for access. Lift storage varies from rack storage which relies on the marina staff with heavy equipment for access to the boat. There can be lengthy waits during busy periods and access is limited by the marina's hours of operation. Marina Jack's location also allows quick access to the Gulf of Mexico and surrounding water for Emergency Response.
