Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Children and Families (Department), Office of Substance Abuse and Mental Health (SAMH), is issuing this solicitation pursuant to section 394.9082, Florida Statutes (F.S.), for the purpose of procuring a Managing Entity for the service area comprised of the following counties: SunCoast Region: Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Glades, Hendry, Hillsborough, Lee, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, and Sarasota Counties; The organization selected as the Managing Entity shall plan, coordinate, and contract for the delivery of substance abuse and mental health services through a comprehensive behavioral health system of care comprised of subcontracted network service providers.
