Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project consists of HVAC and controls improvements at the BSL-3 Laboratory Building that will enable the facility to modulate between BSL-2 and BSL-3 functionality with correlating air exchanges for each level of containment as required. The scope of work includes selective demolition of existing mechanical equipment / infrastructure, provision of new rooftop air handling units, ductwork, air valves, exhaust fans, a chiller, a boiler, pumps, canopy hoods, control switches, alarm/ status panels, wastewater treatment system, direct digital controls, building automation system integration, HVAC associated plumbing and electrical modifications, access control infrastructure, ceiling access doors, interior paint and resinous flooring.
