Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contracted mental health service agency will: ▪ Provide a licensed mental health professional (i.e., LPC, LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist) to provide counseling sessions at each of the main three college campuses. ▪ Provide all required insurance forms to the College designee prior to initiating counseling on an annual basis prior to the Fall semester. ▪ Submit monthly invoices to College designee for billing purposes. ▪ Submit monthly reports to College designee listing number of intake appointments and counseling sessions utilized by the campus and/or virtually as well as an unduplicated headcount of the number of students served on each campus and/or virtually. ▪ Ensure that all of the appropriate confidentiality and release of information forms are collected as appropriate. The counselor hired by the agency will: ▪ Be a licensed mental health professional (i.e., LPC, LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist). ▪ Medication management through a licensed psychiatric physician. ▪ Conduct the initial intake of 30-60 minutes for each new client. ▪ Refer students who need a higher level of care to other external agencies. ▪ Provide 50-minute counseling sessions scheduled on the hour for scheduled time at the campuses and/or virtually. ▪ Develop a treatment plan with the client in the first or second counseling session. ▪ Limit counseling sessions to a maximum of six (6) sessions per client per academic year in addition to initial intake session. Services at the College Campuses (via the College designee) will: ▪ Provide a private room for counseling services. ▪ Communicate counseling services as appropriate, given the capacity of the services. ▪ Review monthly reports from the Agency and work to meet College utilization goals...
