Task 100 Construction Scope of Work (SW) The Work of this Contract comprises the general construction remodeling of the Supply Chain Warehouse, located in the Basement in office area B044 located in Jackson Memorial Hospital – Main campus. The area to be renovated (B044) has approximately 6,000 square feet. Scope of the services described here below shall follow product finishes and specifications described herein. The new Installation shall comply with the latest edition of NFPA-70, N.E.C, Florida Building Code and local authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ). The contractor shall visit the site before bidding to include all necessary Labor and Materials for a complete functional installation whether included or not in this scope of work. This scope of work is intended as a guideline for installation and shall not constitute a basis for claiming of any additional cost. This scope of work includes but is not limited to: 100.1 Work performed by the Owner. 1- Vacate the entire area B044 including the four (4) offices and the warehouse space as well. 100.2 Work performed by Contractors. 1- Set up and maintain the ICRA containment for the duration of the project. 2- Remove and install new sheet vinyl flooring in the four (4) office spaces, with new baseboard. 3- Remove and install new ceiling tiles in the four (4) office spaces. 4- Paint existing ceiling grids color white. 5- Remove and install a new countertop surface in the Supply Chain office. 6- Install a new pantry in the Staff Lounge, details to be given during the walkthrough. 7- Install new FRP wall protection in the Staff Lounge area. 8- Paint all walls in the four (4) office areas. 9- Remove FRP wall protection in the entrance corridor and replace with new FRP wall protection. 10- Remove existing entrance countertop and swing doors and replace with new millwork. 11- Remove existing L shape desk and replace with new millwork. 12- Clean all existing concrete floors, in order to re-polish them and apply a sealer at the end to achieve new look. 13- Install corner guards on all concrete columns. 14- Paint all walls and ceiling in warehouse area. 15- Protection of walls, elevators, and floors use for material movements during the construction. 16- All required labor and materials for the work to be performed regular and/or after hours. 17- Demolition materials must be removed and disposed appropriately in covered container via the basement and out to the receiving dock on a daily basis. Contractor shall provide its own Dumpster, and material storage. 18- All required insurance.
