The successful Contractor shall provide the management, operation, and maintenance of a turn-key Contractor hosted Automated Paid Parking Services (AMPPS) solution accepting credit and debit cards via mobile payment application, Quick Response (QR) code, near-field communications (NFC), text to pay, and/or kiosks at all on and off-street parking locations as designated by the City. There are currently 497 recommended parking spaces in the Downtown core of the City, possibly additional unspecified areas may be added in the future. The Contractor shall be equipped to operate all paid parking locations at the service level required to provide excellent customer service and to develop a verification procedure to identify and exempt or charge a reduced rate for Mount Dora residents parking fees, which could include license plate recognition technology or a mobile application.
