As needed electrical services may include, but not be limited to: • Respond to requests to troubleshoot or repair city-owned electrical systems, such as lighting, signage, and electrical circuits supporting critical public services. • Coordinate electrical services with other trades (e.g., HVAC, plumbing) when work is performed as part of broader facility maintenance or improvement. • Perform low voltage work such as installing or troubleshooting data cabling, security camera wiring, and communication lines. • Install, replace, and maintain interior and exterior lighting systems, including LED retrofits, parking lot lights, recreation park lights, roadway/bridge lighting, and building-mounted fixtures. • Perform routine preventative maintenance and safety inspections on electrical panels, breaker boxes, lighting systems, and control equipment at City facilities. • Install, replace, and troubleshoot backup power generators and automatic transfer switches for City facilities and wastewater lift stations.
