Contractor will provide The Villages Community Development Districts with an experienced Aquatic Weed Removal team to provide the broad range of requested aquatic weed removal services. This team will be organized and structured to ensure consistent, effective communication, and thorough coordination of all project activities. Services shall include, but not be limited to: • Provide aquatic vegetation removal • Must legally haul/ dump aquatic vegetation • Removing and piling of all aquatic vegetation that occurs between the depths of 14” to 5’ and extending out into the lake away from the shore to the outer extent of floating vegetation in all areas designated by the District. • Aquatic plants are to be removed from the lake using methods that minimize the escape of plant fragments. • Plant material must be piled at locations accessible by truck and loader to facilitate removal. Accumulation areas will be designated by the District. • The Contractor shall develop and maintain an effective Quality Control Plan (QCP) to ensure services are performed in accordance with this contract. The Contractor shall develop and implement procedures to identify, prevent, and ensure non-recurrence of defective services as well as include safeguards for proper collection, transport and disposal practices. The Contractor’s final QCP shall be submitted for review within fifteen (15) Days of the contract date and shall be made available to the District. After acceptance of the QCP, the Contractor must receive the District’s acceptance in writing for any proposed changes to the submitted quality control system.
