A. Pre-Installation Assessment: The County’s project evaluation for this project was based on visual inspection only. Prior to submitting a quote, each quoter shall examine the site and all conditions thereon. All quote forms shall be presumed to include all such existing conditions as may affect any work to be done on this project. Failure to familiarize himself with such conditions will in no way relieve the successful quoter from the necessity of furnishing any materials or performing any work that may be required to complete the work in accordance with the specifications contained herein. Quoters shall notify the department representative of any defects prior to proceeding. B. System Requirements: The Contractor shall provide and install two (2) AquaCal model WS10BRDSWHL Geothermal Water Source Units. No substitutions or exceptions will be accepted. C. Installation Services – Contractor shall: 1. Remove and dispose of existing damaged geothermal units. 2. Provide and install both geothermal units and all necessary components such as, but not limited to, pumps, valves, manifolds, controls, as well as plumbing and electrical connections. 3. Commission and test functions of both geothermal units and provide documentation of said test to department representative. D. Maintenance and Training – Contractor shall: 1. Conduct a start-up maintenance visit within 30-60 days of completion. 2. Provide maintenance schedule with checklists. 3. Provide training to pool staff on operation and maintenance. 4. Provide documentation including operational and maintenance manuals. E. Deliverables – Contractor shall: 1. Provide two (2) fully functioning geothermal pool heating systems. 2. Provide as-built drawings and documentation. 3. Provide compliance certificates and inspection documentation.
