The City has a self-funded Group Health Plan that is administered by Florida Blue. The Group Health Plan is supplemented by various other ancillary health benefits plans that are available to employees, retirees, qualified COBRA participants, qualified dependents, and registered domestic partners. These ancillary plans include: a. Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment b. Dental Insurance c. Employee Assistance Program d. Vision Insurance e. Long-Term Disability f. COBRA Administration g. Flexible Spending Plan The current contract for the Employee Assistance Program will expire at the end of September 2024. There are no available options to renew this agreement, and a new contract is needed to maintain continuity of services.
