Specifications include, but are not limited to: This bid scope includes removing damaged insulation around all roof drains, recess and replace with new tapered insulation to insure positive drainage to avoid the pooling of water on roof; power washing and degreasing entire roof membrane; thoroughly inspect roof for any damaged/wet insulation and replace as needed; and remove and replace any fasteners protruding out from old roof system. Install a fully adhered 60 mil single ply roofing membrane to existing roof. New PVC membrane installation is to be adhered to existing PVC with bonding adhesive and PVC overlaps would be heat welded per manufacture’s specifications. All wall terminations must be with 24- gauge metal counter flashing. Any damaged or non-functioning drain piping, down spouts and drain baskets, will be repaired and/or replaced as needed. This roof system should be considered as a permanent repair and not a re-roof.
