Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of South Florida Board of Trustees, a public body corporate of the State of Florida, hereinafter the “University”, intends to negotiate an agreement for Access Control and Other Related Services. The University has various Lenel OnGuard access controls located in various Tampa campus buildings. We invite proposals from qualified State of Florida licensed and certified Lenel OnGuard access control contractor(s) to submit a proposal to perform the services for the Access Control and Other Related Services as described in the specifications herein. Through this process the University desires to negotiate the best value agreement for the University. The purpose of this contract is to provide additional capacity to the University’s Projects, it is the intent of the University to select up to three (3) separate qualified access control contractors for award. Award will be made as stated herein to up to the three (3) responsive and responsible Lenel OnGuard access control contractors meeting all bid terms, criteria, conditions and specifications herein. In the event that only two (2) responsive bids are received from bidding entities meeting all bid terms and conditions, the University will award the bid to the two (2) responsive bidding entities. Thereafter, the awarded access control contractors will compete against each other for each project by submitting a sealed bid price for the Access Control and Other Related Services [DMS 991-127] as stipulated in this ITN on the Tampa campus.
