The work performed under this contract will consist of road realignment and the replacement of the Devine Farm Rd over Bristol Creek Bridge, existing Bridge Number 484067, located along Devine Farm Road in the Beulah community of Escambia County. The existing 62-year-old bridge will be replaced with a modular steel bridge. The proposed replacement bridge will be a single span 60’ from abutment face to abutment face x 43’-8” wide from inside face of rail to inside face of rail, will have cast in place abutments on a micro pile foundation, and will carry two lanes of traffic. Associated roadway improvements on Devine Farm Rd include approximately 730 feet of roadway replacement, realignment, and drainage improvements. The project will require utility coordination, work will be performed under an ERP General Permit, and traffic control will include restricting the bridge crossing to one lane of traffic for the duration of the project estimated to be 500 days.
