A. Pick-up service is defined as a stop made at an individual school/location and may consist of one or more deposits. Pick-ups are to be made from the main office at individual schools or Pod 8 Accounting Services Department at the Educational Services Facility (ESF). 1. Any location where a pick-up cannot be made within the scheduled time, the school bookkeeper or contact shall be notified during the regular office hours of the school on the day the pick-up cannot be made. 2. The awarded Respondent shall have adequate equipment, resources, vehicles, and personnel available to provide armored car services for The School Board of Brevard County, Florida. To minimize cost, awarded Respondent is not restricted from the use of standard vans with a single driver and lock box in lieu of an armored vehicle manned with two personnel. A list and images of unmarked vehicles shall be provided with the bid proposal. 3. The awarded Respondent shall provide a listing with images, ID number, and State License number of all drivers from respective local dispatch office and entire company. This should be provided as two separate listings. 4. The awarded Respondent shall provide images of sample driver ID badge and uniform. 5. The awarded Respondent will need to take into consideration student arrival and dismissal to avoid delays in deposit pick-up. Service will be required during regular office hours of the school. Hours for each school are listed on Exhibit 1.
