Good day, SDVOSB s, VOSB s & SB's This Sources Sought is issued solely for informational and planning purposes only. It does not constitute the issuance of a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified SB businesses. This is not a request for bids, quotes, offers, or proposals. The responses to this announcement will assist in determining the socio-economic status such as a SDVOSB set-aside if feasible. If insufficient SDVOSB responses are received to establish the basis for setting this requirement aside for SDVOSB s, the requirement may be solicited as a VOSB or a SB set aside in which case all interested parties responding shall be eligible to compete. This solicitation will be an FSS NAME BRAND ONLY procurement not open market if there are enough responses for such. Please direct reply in the affirmative via email if you are interested and can provide the required product/service for this requirement. Please provide your capability statement, letter of supply/service /distribution authorization for the exact equipment and supplies.  I will accept responses for this Sources Sought until the 16th of December 2025 14:00HRS, thanks. Scope of Work: This requirement needs to provide one Neoprobe console, AC power cord, three straight probes and three angled probes NAME BRAND ONLY. 2.Background: The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration (VA VHA) is seeking procurement of a replacement Neoprobe console, AC power cord, three straight probes and three angled probes. The current console has reached end of life, with over 17 years of continuous use. Currently, we only have one straight probe and one angled probe available, which is insufficient for the number of surgeons using this device. These components are essential for accurate intraoperative gamma detection during sentinel lymph node biopsies and cancer staging procedures performed at Bay Pines VAMC. The current equipment and limited probe inventory do not meet clinical demand, and the aging console cannot be reliably maintained. 3.Place of Performance: The product is requested to be delivered to Surgery Service, building 100, MOR. 10,000 Bay Pines Blvd, Bay Pines, Florida 33744, via the Warehouse Building 36 for Equipment. 4.Period of Performance: The product is requested to be delivered no later than January 20th. 5.Requirement Overview: The Contractor shall provide the full requested quantity of products listed below. 5.1 Salient Characteristics NAME BRAND - Equipment Requirement: QTY. 1 - (P/N: NPCU4) Neoprobe Console Model 2400 QTY. 3 - (P/N: NPB14S) 14mm Straight Probe QTY. 3 - (P/N: NPB14A) 14mm Angled Probe QTY. 1 (P/N: NPA75) AC Power Cord Equipment Requirement: Minimum Required Features and Specifications Console Requirements Must be a handheld gamma detection system designed for intraoperative sentinel lymph node mapping. Must include real-time gamma detection with both audible and numerical output. Must provide Bluetooth or equivalent wireless connectivity between console and probes. Must include an onboard self-calibration function for probe compatibility and accuracy. Must display counts-per-second (CPS) or equivalent measurement in real time. Must have adjustable audio tone that increases with radiotracer uptake. Must operate using Tc-99m radiotracer detection. Must have adjustable sensitivity ranges, thresholds, and audio volume. Must include internal quality control and diagnostic checks. Must be portable, ergonomic, and suitable for sterile OR environments. 5.2. Probe Requirements (Straight & Angled) Probes must be surgical-grade, autoclavable, and able to withstand routine SPS sterilization. Must include high-sensitivity solid-state detector crystal suitable for Tc-99m detection. Must be available in 14mm straight and 14mm angled configurations. Must provide directional shielding to minimize background activity. Must be ergonomic for precise navigation during surgery. Must include Bluetooth wireless connectivity to the parent console. Must be fully compatible with the console s calibration system. 5.3. Wireless & Calibration Requirements Console and probes must pair using secure, low-latency wireless technology. Wireless signals must support real-time detection feedback without delay. System must automatically perform probe verification and calibration on startup. System must limit pairing to validated, manufacturer-approved probes. 5.4. Performance Requirements Must detect Tc-99m radiotracer signal with high sensitivity for sentinel lymph node biopsy. Must offer rapid signal acquisition ( 10 CPS minimum detectable signal or better). Must provide stable reading even when handheld or repositioned. Must support cancer-related procedures requiring gamma detection. Must maintain accuracy and repeatability over the device s lifespan. 5.5. Sterilization & Infection Control Probes must be fully autoclavable. Must withstand repeated SPS sterilization cycles without loss of sensitivity. Must meet VA infection control standards for OR-use devices. 5.6. Safety Requirements System must meet FDA-cleared (510k) requirements for gamma detection. Console must include overload protection, low-battery alerts, and functional test features. All components must include manufacturer documentation for safe handling and OR use. 5.7. Power & Accessories Consoles must operate using OR-compatible power supply. Must include an AC power cord compatible with U.S. outlets. Must include necessary accessories such as charger, base unit, or equivalent. 5.8. Warranty & Support Must include a minimum 1-year manufacturer warranty on console and probes. Vendor must provide U.S.-based service, replacement parts, an
