The project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials required to trim vegetation and remove debris from the ditch bottom and bank along approximately 1600 linear feet of the Sherman Canal drainage ditch, from Fleet Landing to City of Atlantic Beach Water Plant. Work includes trimming vegetation overhanging the canal within 10 feet of the normal water level, removal of trash and debris along the embankment area to an elevation approximately 10 feet above the normal water level and removal of trash and debris from the drainage ditch channel. Contractor is responsible for hauling all vegetation, trash and debris for offsite disposal at an approved location. Contractor to be responsible for coordinating with FDOT and obtaining an FDOT right of way permit if necessary, as described in the Contract Documents. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Contract Documents.
