Description

The Santa Rosa County School District is seeking to replace the existing sign at Gulf Breeze Middle School located at 649 Gulf Breeze Parkway, Gulf Breeze, Florida 32561. The quote must include software with graphics and scheduling capabilities.
Information Provided:
1. Must include the school name: Gulf Breeze Middle
2. Must include the school mascot: Dolphin
3. The school colors are Navy Blue and Gold.
4. Sign will need power to be run from neighboring Gulf Breeze Elementary sign with the addition of an electrical panel to power the Middle school sign.
5. The vendor is responsible for obtaining all applicable permits prior to work beginning.
6. The school is expected to receive a variance approval for an electronic reader board sign.
7. Work will not begin until after a decision is received on the variance from the City of Gulf Breeze.
Detailed minimum specifications:

2. Monument Style sign
  1. Constructed of brick.
  2. All components of the sign shall be architecturally compatible with the style, composition, materials, color and level of detail of the principal structure.
  3. Monument sign shall be limited to eight feet in height.
  4. Monument sign shall have 60 percent or more of the base in contact with the ground.
3. Electronic LED reader board sign
  1. 16mm or better LED Display
  2. Single color or full color graphics
  3. No animation
  4. Programable display hold times
  5. User programable logos and graphics

Additional Bidding Instructions

Proposals must be submitted electronically through BidNet Direct, located at https://www.floridabidsystem.com prior to 3:00 pm February 28, 2022. All documents requested shall be uploaded by the vendor to the BidNet Direct. Proposals must be submitted:
1. Include itemized pricing by line item for the purpose of the City of Gulf Breeze review (sign, labor, masonry etc.)
2. Include any discounted pricing supplied materials
3. Include a graphic rendering and design drawings of the final layout.
4. Submit two separate proposals:
  1. One with a total of 50 square feet (sqft) including an electronic LED reader board
  2. Second with a total of 75 sqft (50 sqft for the sign and an additional 25 sqft for the electronic LED reader board) including an electronic LED reader board.
