2025-14 - ITB 2025-14 Darrell Enfinger Sports Complex Pool Resurfacing

The Okeechobee County Board of County Commissioners is seeking a qualified contractor to resurface the Main and
Training pools at the Darrell Enfinger Sports Complex. The work includes draining, cleaning, removing damaged tiles and
fittings, upgrading the drain system per The Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act (VGBA) standards, and
installing new finishes, depth markers, and pool components. All materials, methods and requirements must comply with the
engineered drawings provided. The contractor must supply all necessary labor, equipment, and materials to complete the
project. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for securing any required permits—or submitting written confirmation from
the governing authority that permits are not required—and for returning the pool to chemical balance upon completion.

The primary contractor shall assume full responsibility for all subcontracted work, including workmanship, materials,
and compliance with project specifications. A single point of contact must be designated by the contractor for all postproject
support, warranty claims, and defect resolution.

As part of the bidding process, a MANDATORY PRE BID MEETING will be held at 3:00PM on Wednesday,
September 17, 2025 at Darrell Enfinger Sports Complex located at 580 NW 27th Lane, Okeechobee Florida 34972.
The purpose of this meeting is to allow prospective bidders to familiarize themselves with site conditions, take necessary
measurements, and obtain photographs for accurate proposal development. BIDS RECEIVED FROM CONTRACTORS
WHO DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE PRE-BID MEETING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
