RFP-2022-004 - RFP-2022-004 Architectural Drawings Project Consulting and Related Services

Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is seeking proposals from qualified professionals to provide architectural design, project consulting, and related services for our Oasis Youth Shelter located at 3642 Central Ave, Fort Myers, FL 33901.
For over 30 years, Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) has been designated the Children in Need of Services/Families in Need of Services (CINS/FINS) program provider, through a Florida Network for Youth and Family Services (FNYFS) contract. CINS/FINS includes the Oasis Youth Shelter, a 22-bed youth shelter as well as a non-residential community center serving homeless youth, victims of domestic violence, and families.
LSF feels strongly that the best way to make a lasting impact to the kids we serve is to provide them with positive and safe environments that are also conducive to helping them make better choices. Oasis Youth Shelter (OYS) and the non-residential community center have both been providing critical services for three decades and have seen their share of wear and tear that now require significant upgrades to both the exterior and interior of each building. These renovations are key to aiding our program continue to help youth seek shelter and safety, develop life and coping skills, receive counseling and case management, learn valuable job and financial literacy skills that make them self-sufficient, and where possible, reunite with their families.
Our main goal is to continue providing a safe haven to approximately 120 youth annually. To make this a possibility, LSF is seeking to expand services within OYS by renovating the facility and focusing primarily in the living areas where our youth congregate.
