The work involved is divided into several bid items that identify the work to be performed under each bid item. Several of the bid items are separated into different BPA sizes and types that will require individual bid amounts. Quantities given are estimates, and may vary.
BID ITEM 1: Testing of Irrigation BPA An ECUA staff member will email the contractor’s point of contact person a list of BPAs to be tested with purchase order. The contractor’s representative shall respond to the email within three (3) calendar days after receipt of the email. The scope shall include testing the BPA utilizing a calibrated test kit which has been approved by ECUA, flushing of check valves, and replacement of O-rings. All work shall be completed in the calendar year that it is awarded. Upon completion of the work, the contractor shall supply a report to ECUA which indicates passing or failing test report with make, model, serial number, and size of BPA.Reports shall be supplied electronically to the ECUA staff member who originally requested the work. If the work will take longer than 30 days, a partial invoice may be submitted.
