ITB2025-042 Armored Courier Service
Scope: The City of Delray Beach, through its Utilities’ Department, seeks a firm to provide Armored Courier Services. The Scope of Services includes: pick up and receive from City, or any designated agent, securely sealed or locked shipments which may contain any or all of the following: cash, checks, coins, securities or other valuables, in accordance with the terms, conditions contained in this Invitation to Bid.
Questints and Answer: The City provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the requirements of the solicitation. All questions or clarification inquiries must be submitted through Bidnet Direct by the date and time referenced in the solicitation document (including any addenda). The City will respond to all questions via Bidnet Direct..
The City of Delray Beach is exempt from Federal and State Taxes for tangible personal property tax.
The City of Delray Beach reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals, in whole or in part, with or without cause, to waive any irregularities and/or technicalities, and to award the contract on such coverage and terms it deems will best serve the interests of the City.
Bids will be accepted through a secure mailbox at BidNet Direct www.bidnetdirect.com//cityofdelraybeach until the Deadline for Submission as indicated in this ITB. Late Bids will not be accepted. The City will only accept electronic bids for this ITB.

Licensing Requirement: Bidder employs an individual who holds a current-Industry/skills certification and/or licenses required for performance of armored guard services which must comply with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Licensing that states all armed guards will maintain a “D” and “G” License at the time of bid submittal Provide proof, in the form of a copy of certification(s), that the Bidder meets this qualification.
