The City of Sarasota (City) on behalf of the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall (VWPAH) is seeking a request for proposal for vendors to furnish a Ticketing Management System/Program. The Van Wezel is a performing arts hall in Sarasota, Florida that seats 1741 patrons. Its location on beautiful Sarasota Bay makes for a wonderful evening be it for a Broadway Show or a Comedian, an Orchestra or a Rock and Roll concert. The ticketing system holds the information to the key to our operation – the customer. This system is to provide all data management and reporting as needed to run a Performing Arts Hall. It must be robust system, capable of selling, returning and exchanging tickets with a seamless checkout whether it be on the phone, on the internet or in person. Previous ticket sales break down to 10% Box Office, 33% phone and 57% internet. We sell anywhere from 100,000 to 125,000 tickets a year. We have approximately 90 performances on sale at any time. The system must be capable of integrating the data that we collect into data software so we can better market to specific sectors of our patrons. The system must be secure with access and privileges easily defined for different users. It must meet all the vendor IT requirements and have unlimited historical retention.
