The City of Sarasota has issued this Invitation to Bid (ITB) to solicit competitive pricing from Proposers for a Task Work Order driven Construction Project Services – Multiple Funding Sources
The successful proposer(s) shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, consumables, transportation, and incidentals to provide Public Works Construction Projects on an ‘as needed’ basis for the City of Sarasota.
The contractor shall perform all services including but not limited to those required to repair, restore, and enhance resiliency for the City of Sarasota’s infrastructure, parks, and public amenities affected by federally declared disaster events. This scope encompasses work on roadways, parks, and other public rights of way and includes adherence to federal, state, and local guidelines. Compliance requirements include those set by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
The contractor shall perform all services including but not limited to those required to repair, restore, and enhance resiliency for the City of Sarasota’s infrastructure, parks, and public amenities affected by federally declared disaster events. Specifically, The contractor shall perform services related to damages caused by the following federally declared disasters: DR-4806 (Hurricane Debby), DR-4828 (Hurricane Helene), DR-4834 (Hurricane Milton) and future federally declared disasters affecting the City of Sarasota.
The types of projects that may be assigned under this Contract shall include, but not be limited to:
- intersection/roadways
- shoreline stabilization
- seawalls
- recreational trails
- traffic signals
- lighting
- piers/docks
- sidewalks
- stormwater infrastructure
