The City of Sarasota is soliciting proposals for consulting engineering services relative to the preparation of Lido Beach Long Range Beach Management, Lido Beach Erosion Control Services, Shoreline Restoration and Post Storm Restoration Project(s), New Pass Dredging, Inlet Management Studies and general City-wide shoreline protection, and post storm response and restoration for Lido Beach or customary engineering services for design, permitting and construction coordination on an “as needed basis, all in accordance with the provisions of the Consultant’s Competitive Negotiations Act (CCNA) for the City of Sarasota. It is the City’s intent to make awards to one or more firm(s) to provide these services.
The contractor shall perform all services including but not limited to those required to repair, restore, and enhance resiliency for the City of Sarasota’s infrastructure, parks, and public amenities affected by federally declared disaster events. Specifically, The contractor shall perform services related to damages caused by the following federally declared disasters: DR-4806 (Hurricane Debby), DR-4828 (Hurricane Helene), DR-4834 (Hurricane Milton) and future federally declared disasters affecting the City of Sarasota.
