20-048 - Scott, Yates, Lakeview, and Strong Outfalls at Bayou Texar

Provide stormwater treatment for three currently untreated drainage sub-basins within Bayou Texar Watershed. Treatment will be provided by fitting underground stormwater conveyance systems with 3 proprietary underground treatment units and associated manholes. This project is consistent with current technology for stormwater retrofit treatment and is part of an ongoing program utilized throughout the City to improve water quality of area waterways. As a result of these improvements, work site safety, MOT, maintenance/bypass of stormwater flow, and erosion control will be paramount issues. General work to be accomplished will include installation of 2 new Vortech units and 1 new Aquashield unit, asphalt surface course asphalt, mill and overlay, lime rock base, stabilized subgrade, storm structures, new storm pipe, curb and gutter, and sod.
