Description

As a result of Hurricane Sally, the Berth 2/3 corner fenders at the Port of Pensacola require replacement.
The scope of work, as detailed in the drawings and specifications, includes:

Demolition and removal of the existing concrete haunch at the corner between Berths 2 and 3.
Construction of a new reinforced concrete haunch at the corner between Berths 2 and 3.
Installation of the Owner supplied fenders on the new concrete haunch.

The materials to be supplied by the Owner for installation by the Contractor include:

Four (4) 600mm deep by 3,050mm long arch fenders
Forty (40) 1-3/4” diameter stainless steel threaded rod anchor bolts
1. Contractor is responsible for cutting each of the threaded rod anchor bolts to the proper length for installation as indicated on the drawings.
Forty (40) external mounting plates
Thirty four (34) stainless steel heavy hex nuts (external fender mounting)
1. Contractor is responsible for providing six (6) additional stainless steel heavy hex nuts for the external fender mounting

It is noted that the forty (40) stainless steel heavy hex nuts required on the embedded portion of the threaded rod anchor bolts, as indicated in the drawings, shall be supplied and installed by the Contractor.
