RAY’S POND STORMWATER IMPROVEMENTS
General Notice
The City of Mary Esther (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Ray’s Pond Stormwater Improvements
Kimley-Horn Project Number: 142199000
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the City of Mary Esther City Hall located at
195 N Christobal Road, Mary Esther Florida 32569, until Friday, February 9th, 2024, at 12:00 P.M.
Central Standard Time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
Project involves the demolition and removal of existing curb inlets, demolition of existing wooden
fence, in place abandonment of stormwater piping, open cut and repair of asphalt roadway and
concrete driveway, removal and replacement of stormwater piping, new stormwater piping, new
control structure, proposed connections to an existing control structure, earthwork relating to pipe
installation and reshaping of Ray’s Pond, and best management practices for erosion control.
Owner anticipates that the Project’s total bid price will be approximately $500,000.00. The Project has
an expected duration of 270 days.

Pre-bid Conference
A mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Wednesday, January 17th at 2:30 P.M. at
the City of Mary Esther City Hall located at 195 N Christobal Road, Mary Esther Florida 32569. Bids will
not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference.

refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
