Summary of Specifications:
The Bay County Board of County Commissioners (County) plans to establish a wellness center to provide Medical and Wellness services to its employees. As such the County is seeking a qualified vendor to implement this new program. The County has approximately 600 employees, of which approximately 200 are enrolled in the Health Plan as individuals, approximately 100 with spouse only and approximately 150 with dependent coverage included. The County intends to open the wellness center no later than January 1, 2015. Depending on the successful negotiation of the program, The City of Panama City’s 525 employees and other constitutional employees may also be granted access to the wellness center.
It is the County’s wish to solicit, view and learn about potential solutions that may be available in the marketplace that may meet its needs. The products and services requested herein are categorized as “health services involving examination, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, medical consultation or administration” and therefore any negotiations that may result from responses to this RFI are exempt from additional formal solicitation requirements. Please note this RFI is not intended to be an offer, order or contract and should not be regarded as such, nor shall any obligation or liability be imposed on the County. Upon review of responses, the County may select a response for negotiation, request formal proposals from all or select firms responding to this RFI or postpone implementation. County reserves the right to reject any or all responses received. This request does not obligate County to pay any cost incurred by vendors related to submission of responses to this RFI.
