The Department of Public Works, Parking Enforcement Management Administration (PEMA) has an immediate need for a base and four options IDIQ Requirements Contract for Vehicle Immobilization PN: WTI 981010000 Standard DC Model 98 “9-1/2 inch” Immobilizer Boots and also lock devices (American locks Master Locks 7300 or 700 Series – all keyed alike) used daily by the Booting crews. The Vehicle Immobilization boots will need to meet the following criteria’s: 1. American locks: Shall be secure and tamper proof and not allow bolt cutters and/or easy access. 2. Arms/jaws plate: Shall stay straight with some flexibility (ex: won’t flip). 3. Legs: Shall be strong and reinforced and safe, constructed with AS9100 Standard Certifications. 4. Boot: Shall be designed for “reverse” booting when required. 5. All boot parts shall be interchangeable. 6. Boot shall be designed to be light weight, approximately 15 lbs. assembled.
