The Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (Energy Resilience & Optimization (ODASD(ER&O)) within the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Energy, Installations, and Environment (OASD(EI&E)) sustains warfighting readiness and lethality by providing energy-related policy and governance for programs and activities that enable resilient, efficient, clean, and cyber-secure energy for Joint forces, weapon systems, and installations.
ODASD(ER&O) requires contractor support to fulfill its function of providing policy, budget, and programmatic oversight to DOD energy programs that ensure energy readiness, resilience, and availability, and meet climate and energy policy goals.
