Provided the Revised Source Sought Notice (Changing the NAICS Code)
The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), through its Office of Emergency Management and Physical Security, requires installation and maintenance of Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) compliant Electronic Security Systems (ESS) as required by the Government. The ESS includes the restoring of the Software House PACS, restoring of Innometriks hardware, installing or restoring Video Surveillance Systems (VSS), installing or restoring Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and restoring intercoms. These services are essential for supporting HUD's mission, protecting employees and assets, and ensuring compliance with federal security mandates.
The Government is issuing a Sources Sought notification with a draft Performance Work Statement to identify a qualified 8(a) company to meet its requirements for these services.
Services shall include:
- The Contractor shall provide preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure that system components are in good working order and functioning as designed for the installed project. HUD does not supply parts.
- The Contractor shall provide all parts to repair or replace defective parts.
- The Contractor shall ensure that all parts are carried or shipped to the site requiring repair, or replacement.
- The Contractor shall provide preventative maintenance upon preliminary office visits, during established trouble calls, or at least once per year.
- The Contractor shall provide Preventative Maintenance Reports to the designated when service is completed.
