USDA seeks to immediately contract for 3PL services in Kansas City, Missouri, to serve as a tempory receiving, storage, and loading/shipping facility for certain fry food products destined for delivery in Kansas City from now through 12/31/2024. The contracted warehouse would serve as an "overflow" facility to the main USDA-contracted warehouse.
Quotes will not be accepted from warehouse outside of the Kansas City, MO metro area.
Needed services include:
- Providing food grade warehouse storage for dry goods for TBD number of pallet positions
- Receiving inbound full truckload, palletized shipments
- Unloading trucks, warehousing product (while maintaining that truckload's contents' identity for shipment)
- Loading and shipping product, as directed, from their warehouse to the main USDA-contracted warehouses at 8600 and 8800 NE Underground Drive, Kansas City, MO 64161
