The contractor shall provide and deliver wood crossties and switch timber ties of various lengths and specifications to support WMATA's system-wide capital track rehabilitation and maintenance efforts. The materials must comply with WMATA standards, the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance of Way Association’s (AREMA) guidelines, and all applicable federal and industry regulations for dimensional tolerance, treatment, durability, and quality. Deliveries shall be made to designated WMATA facilities or job sites, as specified by the Office of TRST, in alignment with project schedules. The scope for the two (2) Base Years and one (1) Option Year includes, but is not limited to: 1. Supply of standard wood crossties (e.g., 8'6", 9' lengths) for mainline and yard tracks. 2. Supply of switch timber ties in various custom lengths for use at turnouts, crossovers, and interlockings. Material treatment with approved preservatives to ensure longevity and resistance to decay is required. 3. Timely delivery and offloading at specified WMATA maintenance facilities or job locations. 4. Quality assurance and documentation, including certification of compliance with all specifications
