Specifications include, but are not limited to: The ACRP is seeking the insights of proposers on how best to achieve the research objective. Proposers should develop and include in their proposal a detailed research plan for accomplishing the project objective. Proposers are expected to describe research plans that can realistically be accomplished within the constraints of available funds and contract time. Proposals must present the proposer's current thinking in sufficient detail to demonstrate their understanding of the issues and the soundness of their approach to meet the research objective. The research plan should be divided into two phases, and each phase should be divided into tasks with a detailed description of the work proposed. The research plan should include the following:1. A description of proposed deliverables for each task or group of tasks along with a detailed project schedule;2. A suggested schedule for conference calls with the ACRP panel to review and discuss progress and interim work products;3. An interim report prepared at the conclusion of Phase I describing work done as part of Phase I tasks (the interim report will also include an updated work plan, a schedule for Phase II, and an annotated outline of the final product); and4. An interim meeting with the ACRP panel to review the interim report and to authorize Phase II.
