Summary: Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this request for information/sources sought notice in order to identify vendors that are interested in and capable of providing Shuttle Bus Services for the Washington DC VA Medical Center (VAMC). Description of Work: The Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center (DCVAMC) needs passenger shuttle services for Veterans seeking medical care at and employees at the DCVAMC. Contractor shall provide all resources necessary to perform the passenger shuttle services for the DCVAMC. Period of Performance: The period of performance for this contract will be a maximum of 5 years, through the combination of a 12-month base period and a maximum of four 12-month option periods that may only be exercised at VHA s discretion. The anticipated base and option periods are: Base Period: 10-01-2025 to 09-30-2026 Option Period 1: 10-01-2026 to 09-30-2027 Option Period 2: 10-01-2027 to 09-30-2028 Option Period 3: 10-01-2028 to 09-30-2029 Option Period 4: 10-01-2029 to 09-30-2030 Shuttle Routes and Hours of Performance Route Name: Brookland Metro Station Passengers: Veterans and VA employees Route: Brookland Metro Station to Washington DCVAMC to Brookland Metro Station. The Brookland Metro Station is about 1.5 miles east of the DCVAMC. Schedule: shuttles operate on a continuous loop from 5:30 AM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday (except holidays observed by the Federal government), with departures from each location about every 15 minutes. Shuttle vehicle must be at least 26-passenger size with handicap accessibility Route Name: Columbia Heights Metro Station Passengers: Veterans and VA employees Route: Columbia Heights Metro Station to Washington DCVAMC to Columbia Heights Metro Station. The Columbia Heights Metro Station is about 1.5 miles west of the DCVAMC. Schedule: shuttles operate on a continuous loop from 5:30 AM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday (except holidays observed by the Federal government), with departures from each location about every 15 minutes.
