Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Assists in improving effectiveness in meeting schedules, deadlines, priorities, and production goals regarding the District’s Snow Team. • Assists in the development and maintenance of statistical database and/or tracking/management system to ensure the adequate filing of documents, easy retrieval of records, correspondence, required documentation and other essential program information. • As requested, obtains, coordinates, and prepares or edits responses for administrative and programmatic information requests. • Handles routine complaints and problems referred by staff, or as directed by the Safety and Security Administrator. • Assists in the development of information for all agency testimony before the Council of the District of Columbia. • Assists in the development of documents that reflect the agencies fiscal year achievements. • Identifying and resolving issues and problems related to the District’s Snow Program. • Planning, analyzing, and evaluating the effectiveness of operations and programs. • Preparing and presenting reports and recommendations. • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office includes the ability to open, create, save and modify documents in Word, send and receive email in Outlook and create spreadsheets in Excel. • Works up to 5 hours per day, for a work week between 20 to 25 hours.
