Specifications include, but are not limited to:The purpose of this request is to identify research teams with the appropriate qualifications to potentially conduct research related to using social media for emergency management (EM) at airports. This project will be utilizing an expedited procurement process that involves prequalification to establish a short list of qualified teams who can respond quickly and competitively. Selected teams will be invited to submit a specific proposal that includes a research approach, staffing plan, and a budget. These teams are expected to have significant in-house expertise and the ability to assemble additional expertise and subject matter experts as needed for the research. Additionally, each selected team will be required to submit the necessary documentation required for the contracting process. It is expected that the research teams will be either private consultants, academics, or a consortium of both.
