Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) requires the service of multiple qualified contractors to remove snow and ice from various Non-revenue facilities as well as Metrorail stations to include the entrances, exits roadways, bus lanes and parking lots that serve the facilities of the Metrorail stations in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia. The contractors shall furnish equipment with qualified vehicle operators & CDL licensed drivers’ operators who have had criminal background checks completed. b. Commencement of work and specific work location sites will be directed by the Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (COTR(s). All work done under this contract will be paid on an hourly basis for each piece of equipment that is used. Site Area Locations for coverage are listed below.
