Specifications include, but are not limited to: Project Identification: Project consists of the development of an 8.6 acre site on the south side of Airport property including utility infrastructure, pavements and a pre-engineered metal building The Work generally consists of the development of an 8.6 acre site on the south side of Airport property including utility infrastructure, pavements and a pre-engineered metal building. 1. The Base Contract Work generally includes, but not limited to, the following: a. Site demolition including removal of concrete foundation remnants of a former concrete batch plant. b. Site clearing, grubbing and grading creation of storm water retention area. c. Site utility demolition and modifications. d. New utility infrastructure including water main, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, oil/water separator, electrical duct bank and telecommunications ducts. e. Relocation of an existing site transformer and temporary electrical service to adjacent concrete batch plant site. f. New asphaltic concrete over aggregate base course for circulation roads and vehicle staging areas. g. New pre-engineered 170' x 510' +/- metal building for storage of snow removal vehicles and related equipment, including: 1) Uninsulated metal roof and siding. 2) Concrete floor slab. 3) Motorized roll-up doors, egress doors and other personnel doors. 4) Interior and exterior lighting. 5) Floor drains and associated plumbing. 6) Fire sprinkler and alarm/notification systems. 7) Mechanical exhaust equipment. 8) CMU interior sprinkler riser and electrical rooms. 9) Electrical circuits and outlets to support equipment engine block heaters.
