• Replacement or rehabilitation of approximately 33 miles of existing small diameter (12" or less) water mains and associated lead service line replacements and service connections in both public and private space. The majority of the small diameter pipe is cast iron (CI) and shall be replaced with ductile iron (DI) as noted in plans. • Connection of small diameter water mains to large diameter (greater than 12") as required. • Design of and implementation of traffic control plans (TCPs) and erosion and sediment control plans (ESCs) on site. • Coordination with all required permitting agencies for the project, including but not limited to DDOT, National Park Services (NPS), and DOB/DOEE. Additional coordination with Advisory Neighborhood Committees (ANCs) as needed. • Coordination with DC Water to ensure customers are informed, water quality meets required standards, and disruptions are minimized. • All associated restoration in roadways, sidewalks, and private property as consented by the homeowner. • Securing of all permits necessary to implement the work
