The purpose of this amendment is to provide a complied list of vendor submitted questions to this RFI and DOL provided responses. This list can be found in the attachments section titled "Complied List of Vendor Questions and Answers.
This amendment also extends the RFI due date from August 10, 2021 to August 17, 2021 at 4pm EST.

THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for information and market research planning purposes; it does not constitute a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation. The Department of Labor (DOL) is seeking information from commercial and Federal sources on their capacity to act as Managed Security Services Providers (MSSPs)/Managed Detection and Response (MDR) to Security Operation Centers (SOCs). DOL defines SOCs as being facilities where enterprise information systems (web sites, applications, databases, data centers and servers, networks, desktops and other endpoints) are monitored, assessed, and defended. SOCs are responsible for ensuring that potential cyber security incidents are correctly detected, assessed, responded to, contained, remediated and reported. DOL defines an MSSP/MDR as being a company who would take over the day to day management of all or a portion of the SOC function. Please see attched document for full RFI details.
