Specifications include, but are not limited to: This improvement will be along various roads in unincorporated Schaumburg Township including Myrtle Park Street, Marion Street, Illinois Street, Pratt Boulevard, Morris Avenue, South Circle Avenue, North Elmwood Lane, Valley View Drive, Parkview Drive and Crest Avenue a total length of 12,175.86 feet (2.306 miles). The improvement lies within unincorporated Schaumburg Township in Cook County, Illinois. This is a Quality Control/Quality Assurance project utilizing Hot-Mix Asphalt Mixtures. It is the intent of this improvement to remove the existing hot-mix asphalt surface along various streets in Schaumburg Township to a depth of 1 ½ in. and then repair the existing base with Class D Patches (6 In.) of the type necessary, then adjust the pavement to provide a crown of 2% slope with Leveling Binder (Machine Method) as required and resurface the milled pavement with Hot-Mix Asphalt Surface Course, IL-9.5 or 12.5, Mix “C”, N50 (1 ½ in.). Also included will be replacement of driveway culverts, as required, ditch regrading, as required, restoration of shoulder and parkway with topsoil and sodding and Traffic Protection.
